Maya Angelou

This is a typographical figurative portrait of Maya Angelou. I created an expressive portrait focusing on her emotion in order to reenforce her quote, “Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” Inspiration for this image was a photograph take by Chester Higgins Jr. of a young Angelou.
